Now, I’m not talking about that 1985, tacky Cross Colours baggy look, but sophisticated use of color to make a great outfit for day or night. Colourblocking can be chic, sexy, and affordable. Just look at how some of the hottest stars make it work…

Rules for colourblocking: If you look at a color wheel (yes, the same one from elementary school) you can choose complimentary colors (opposite on color wheel), or analogous colors (next to each other on color wheel) for the best fashion effect.
Colors that look good together:
Complimentary--Turquoise and orange, blue and yellow Analogous—lime green and yellow, blue and turquoise
Keep jewelry neutral (silver, gold), and you can add a print such as leopard to add dimension to the look.
